I Like Your Eyes
Howdy,
So I've been having some random thoughts over the past week or so and I thought that a couple of these thoughts could be blogged cuz I'd like to know if what I'm gonna say makes any sense to somebody.
Well I started thinking about eyes and life and how they are connected. I don't know about yall but I use my eyes to look at things, people, words on paper, etc... My eyes allow me to view the multiple directions I'd like to travel in. I like my eyes. God gave me life, and in this life I have chosen to keep him by my side, so we can walk the road togther. So I started to figure this: If I didn't have God in my life then I don't think I would need my eyes. Knowing what life is like with God in my life (so far) is really the only way I know and understand and agree with. Without having Christ in my life I would just be a walking body, with nothing to live for but whatever the world offers. It would just be the basic " working, getting married, raising kids, watching the game with my buds, and dying shortly after" I don't want that life, not at all, I desire purpose and I long to be with my creator/saviour. I'm pretty sure that God gave me these eyes so that I would follow him, see the things he's gonna do for me and for others throughout the course of my life.

So Please, Love Your Eyes, Use Them Wisely.
* This is not in conjuction or has anything to do with blind people, they have their own stories I'm sure, God Bless them *

This is wild. I have been thinking of eyes all this last week too! Like the exact same thing. I even decided to be artsy in my own way and did a big mod-podge thinger complete with a gazillion sets of eyes I hacked out of magazines and prayed the whole time for more revelation on eyes and the power they have to direct our lives. Like MUCH power. I always tell people that what we look at is what we become so we'd better stop looking at ourselves and look at Jesus. That's becoming so much more real to me these days and everywhere I turn there are "eye" things. So cool!! So yeah... loved you blog.

I have been doing a poll, for some personal research on something and I have discovered, without fail, every response has been the same to this... I have been asking people what their primary motivation is in life. What do they desire and need most deeply, and every answer has been purpose. Sometimes they use different words or phrases to explain, but it all comes back to people needing purpose. So I can relate to what you're saying, you don't just want to exist. You want purpose. That is a God given drive, which few give Him credit for.
